1 Data Nook Does Not Collect
Screen Time Data: All screen time features are built strictly on-device using official Apple SDKs. This data is fully opaque and processed locally on your device. Nook never has access to, nor collects, views, or stores screen time stats.
Personal Profile Data: Nook does not collect your real name, age, physical address, or phone number.
2 Authentication & Server Data
When you use Nook, limited technical data is processed:
Account Credentials: When you sign in with Apple or Google, Nook stores only the anonymized user tokens provided by those platforms to verify your account session.
Saved Feeds & URLs: The feed URLs you search for, add, and save to your digests are stored on cloud infrastructure solely to sync and deliver your requested items.
3 Third-Party Services & Analytics
To keep Nook running efficiently, select third-party service providers are used:
Infrastructure: for secure backend hosting and database operations.
Analytics: Usage analytics tools may collect anonymized app interaction data and device metrics to help identify bugs, monitor app stability, and improve feature performance.
4 Data Retention & Account Deletion
Saved feed preferences remain on the backend for as long as your account is active.
Requesting Account/Data Deletion: If you would like to delete your account and all associated backend data, send an email from your registered account to [email protected] with the subject “Delete My Account.” Your request will be processed, and your data purged from the servers within 30 days.
